Beer Recipe Kit - Oktoberfest Ale All Grain
This is a crisp, amber lager that’s a little stronger than most. Historically, Oktoberfest was a Märzenbier (March Beer) brewed in Spring, and drank in late September as a festbier. It was stored in cold cellars and caves through the summer which helped it to be clean and crisp with bright appearance. The beer was a little stronger and hoppier than most other lagers to ensure it survived the long summer. This beer has low to medium hop bitterness with a malty aroma. Serve the beer cool with German sausage & sauerkraut for maximum enjoyment.
