Beer Recipe Kit - German Pils Partial Mash
Due to seasonal availability, hops and grains may be substituted if necessary.
If whole or crushed option is not defined, it will be defaulted to crushed.
German Pilsners are “All Malt” due to the Bavarian purity law of 1516. They are medium bodied with much more hop character and colour than your average North American Lager. Bitterness is moderate but hop aroma is evident, floral, and clean. Cold storage will help crisp it up. Keep boil time down to ½ hour to avoid darkening the malt.
