DECEMBER: BOBAL CABERNET SAUVIGNON
VALENCIA, SPAIN
This Spanish red combines Cabernet Sauvignon with the lesser known Bobal grape to deliver a medium-bodied wine with a fruity palate and silky tannin. Aromas of black fruit, mild spice, and subtle toasty oak. Bright flavours of plum, cassis, and cherry are followed by soft tannins, and a light spicy finish.

JANUARY: WINEMAKER'S BLEND
ITALY
Our 5 grape Italian Winemaker’s Blend leads with Pinot Grigio for its lush flavours of apple and peach. It is blended with smaller amounts of Riesling, Trebbiano, Vermentino, and Verduzzo to create a crisp "off-dry" wine with a tapestry of vibrant fruit flavours and a fresh acidity.

FEBRUARY: NEBBIOLO
LODI, CALIFORNIA
Nebbiolo is the grape variety responsible for the mighty Italian Barolo. Our Nebbiolo maintains its strong tannin but is designed to be a little more approachable showing more voluptuous fruit and floral undertones. Cherry and raspberry flavours are forefront, while licorice, plum and earthy notes add depth. A gratifying wine with strong structure and balance. 

MARCH: SEMILLON SAUVIGNON BLANC
PROVENCE, FRANCE
This dry White Bordeaux style wine is a classic French blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Citrus and grassy aromas lead to a gorgeous palate of green apple with refreshing grapefruit and lemon/lime notes. Serve lightly chilled to emphasize the vibrant acidity and prominent citrus flavours of this crisp dry white.

APRIL: TEMPRANILLO SHIRAZ
RIVERLAND, AUSTRALIA

Tempranillo and Shiraz are exceptional blending partners creating a full bodied red wine with rich fruit and spice. Aromas of red berry, coco, and peppery spice set the tone for flavours of black cherry, raspberry, and plum. The addition of grape skins lend ripe tannin and rich spice to the lush mouthfeel. A blockbuster example of how these two flavourful grapes amplify each other.
