Boiler and Mash Tun. This is where Festa Brew unfermented beer is produced.
The complex panels control everything from temperature to flow rate. |

Mike Ligas (left) is the head brewer and Mike Kyffin (right) is now the
Festa Brew sales rep. Many of you might recognize Mike Kyffin as the
former manager of our Cole Harbour store. |

Here is a picture of Mike Ligas with the beer fermenters. Their commercial
beer is fermented here. Obviously the Festa Brew is not. It’s fermented at
your house. Mike is well qualified to be the head brewer. He is a Molecular
Biologist & Microbiologist, has 27 years homebrewing experience and 11 years
in the professional brewing industry, is a professional member of the Master
Brewers Association of the Americas and the American Society of Brewing
Chemists, is currently serving on the Technical Committee of the Brewers of
Canada, has served on the Canadian Amateur Brewers Association Board of
Directors, is a CABA Grand Master Brewer and a BJCP Certified beer judge. |

This is where Festa Brew gets pasteurized. It is quickly heated then cooled
and filled into nitrogen purged bags. Mike Ligas has custom designed a
chamber filled with chlorine & steam to surround the filler ensuring
a sterile fill environment. |

| Here is where Festa Brew is stored before being shipped to us.
This room is totally refrigerated. |

They also make (awesome) commercial beer. This is one of the best IPA’s
I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve tasted lots!!! |
